Lifestyle & Culture

Canada is a multicultural country with comfortable living environment, many picturesque tourism sites and friendly people. The door of Canada is always opened for immigrants. Almost all of the world's ethnic groups are represented in Canada. As a result, most ethnic food, festivals, cultural and recreational activities associated with specific cultures are available in Canada. Chinese food and restaurants are very common in Canada.

Accommodation

There is a wide range of accommodation in Canada for students. Students can choose from living in dormitory (on campus) or off-campus shared apartments, with selected local families (homestay), international student hostels, all based on their budgets and needs.

Costs

Cost of living in Canada varies depending on the city where the student studies. Tuition fees are paid on a per credit or per class basis, which means that your total tuition payment will correlate to the number of courses you are taking.

Fees range widely from school to school and from province to province. According to the Universities Canada, student likely needs between C$20,000 and C$30,000 annually to cover tuition and living expenses. This makes Canada an inexpensive place to study.
